My Story

For me, teaching internationally has always been more than a career; it’s been a lifelong adventure in learning, leading, and building community. Over the past 20 years, my journey has taken me from Colombia to China, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, and now Thailand. Each experience has deepened my belief that education should be student-centered, inquiry-driven, project-based, and globally minded.

In my current role as Innovation Learning Coach at the International School of Bangkok, I have had the opportunity to lead large-scale initiatives that shape how technology and innovation are woven into learning. I spearheaded the design of a purpose-built elementary Makerspace, developed robotics and coding programs, and embedded technology integration across the curriculum. I am recognized as both a strategic planner and visionary, able to set a clear direction for innovation while also paying close attention to the details that bring those ideas to life. A key part of my leadership has been guiding colleagues and students in exploring robotics and emerging technologies such as AI and VR, ensuring they are used in purposeful, creative, and student-centered ways. I believe that strong leadership also means building capacity in others, and I take pride in designing professional learning that empowers teachers and inspires students to take risks, collaborate, and grow.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with my wife and two daughters. Exploring new countries, hiking, biking, skiing, and discovering local culture are experiences that recharge me and bring fresh perspectives into my teaching. Wherever I teach, I aim to bring creativity, curiosity, joy, and a collaborative spirit to the school community.
